The Pumpkin Man is back!

This is one of many illustrations from the creative mind of our late great friend Michael Mealey. This was drawn sometime in the 1970's.

Every year as we make pumpkin candles and pumpkin spice candles, I love to remember him and marvel at his humor and artistic talents. 

In addition to silliness, he built the bench with armadillas carved in the back and the frame around the mirror on display in the entrance to the candle store. The frame was originally in the window of the first store on 5th Street in old town Tempe.
